ACUHO-I Mid-Level Institute Scholarship

The ACUHO-I Mid-Level Institute Scholarship was established to provide professionals with financial support to attend the ACUHO-I Mid-Level Institute in either Canada or the US (rotates locations). The recipient of the scholarship will receive up to $500 USD toward registration, transportation, lodging, and meals for the conference.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • For the purposes of this institute, the recipient must fulfill diverse, critical roles that operate in between entry-level and senior-level capacities. The goal of the Institute is to generate inspired ideas and exceptional practices that will help mid-level leaders master and thrive in their current positions.
  • Eligible individuals must be either part of a NWACUHO member institution or hold an individual NWACUHO membership.
  • The scholarship recipient must write an article for the NWACUHO Soundings Blog about their experience at the ACUHO-I Mid-Level Institute.

Application Requirements:

A complete scholarship application will include:

  • A descriptive letter of interest from the candidate. The letter should address why the scholarship is important to the candidate and how it will support their growth as a professional within the field of housing and residence life
  • A statement of support written on behalf of the candidate. Someone other than the candidate must submit a brief written statement of support (250 words or less) on behalf of the candidate that includes information about the candidate’s strengths/skills and potential in the field of housing and residence life, and how the Institute would benefit their career growth
  • Please email the letter of interest and letter of support to past-pres@nwacuho.org by 5:00pm Pacific on February 15.
