The Photo Voice Project

The Diversity & Inclusion Committee would like to invite you to participate in our Photovoice project. The goal of the Photovoice project is for you to document your experience as a student affairs professional through the lens of your identities.  Please complete the following survey and we look forward to your participation.  The survey will close on Friday, December 8, 2017.  If you have any questions please contact Ashlee Norris at ashno@uw.edu.

Diversity and Inclusion Committee Purpose

The Diversity & Inclusion Committee provides opportunities for the education and professional development in the areas of equity and inclusion both at the annual conference and throughout the year. The Diversity & Inclusion Committee supports efforts that increase awareness throughout the region.

Core Objectives:

  • Work in conjunction with the Programming Committee for the NWACUHO Annual Conference to recruit program proposals representing diverse topics and institutions.
  • Develop a plan for solicitation of nominations for the Diversity & Inclusion Award in conjunction with Awards & Scholarship Committee
  • Support and create content for the Soundings blog and other professional development venues within NWACUHO.
  • Assist Board of Directors and Local Arrangements Team in creating an inclusive conference environment.

The Diversity Toolkit

The Diversity Toolkit is an ongoing project that is being developed by members of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
