Residence Coordinator at University of Alberta

We’re excited to announce that the University of Alberta is currently looking for a new Residence Coordinator to join our team. This position will oversee the French-language residence known as Résidence Saint-Jean and the family housing residence in Michener Park. Please note that the successful candidate must be fluent in French.

As one of Canada’s top teaching and research universities, the University of Alberta employs over 15,000 full and part-time staff across four campuses making us one of the largest employers in the Province of Alberta. There are lots of exciting things happening in residence at UAlberta- from two new buildings opening in Fall 2018 to an active renewal process of our older buildings – all of which the Residence Life team plays a major role in.

Residence Services houses over 5000+ students in 16 distinct communities and over 23 buildings. The professional staff team comprises of 22 team members and we offer over 250 student leadership positions in residence.  We are really proud of our well-established programs such as Basecamp, Eastern Ascent and the East Campus Block Party and Engage Edmonton that have a positive impact on our residence communities. In dealing with student conduct cases in residence, we are proud to use a restorative justice approach.
