Resident Services Manager at University of Oregon

The Resident Services Manager is responsible for management of the day-to-day operations of four (4) service center desks in the residence halls and oversees summer staffing and summer transition.

The Resident Services Manager effectively works and teams up with all Housing units, Human Resources, Business Office, Facilities, Dining Services, Information Technology, and Marketing to accomplish the strategic plan of University Housing. The Resident Services Manager is responsible for the overall daily management of the University Housing service centers and Housing Events Resource Office, including all aspects of desk management, personnel, administrative functions, procedures and policies, departmental policies/goals, and working with various residents and staff groups. This position also manages all aspects of the Summer Housing Residence Hall Assignments, including but not limited to developing and processing applications, contracts, and payments. Additionally, the Resident Services Manager is directly responsible for the supervision of two classified staff and five to ten student staff, which includes but is not limited to the Housing Service Center Leads and HERO Office Assistants, and is indirectly responsible for the supervision and management of 44 Service Center Assistants. The Resident Services Manager is supervised by an Associate Director of Residence Life.

This position may work extra hours during check in/out and peak times of the academic year.

The Resident Services Manager is considered Essential Staff and will be required to be on campus or available by phone to provide support and management of emergencies.
