Summer Housing Internship at University of Portland

The Summer Housing Conference Coordinator lives in a residence hall and helps provide a caring and supportive environment for students and other program participants residing in campus residence halls during the summer. The position serves as an on-call resource for students and program participants, refers and connects students and program participants to services on campus, responds to maintenance and service related concerns and requests, helps implement community standards, and helps manage emergency or crisis situations. This position also will help coordinate and act as a liaison with camp/program leaders and groups and other offices on campus.

These are temporary (May 8, 2018 to August 18, 2018), part-time (generally, 17.5 hours per workweek) non-exempt positions without regular benefits (such as health insurance).

Benefits included during period of employment are: sick time consistent with Oregon state requirements; semi-furnished apartment at assigned residence hall including utilities and internet; laundry card and meal plan; cell-phone stipend; and parking pass. There are no other benefits. (Benefits are subject to all relevant University policies, practices, contracts, and any other relevant materials.)
