Residential Education Director

Seeking dynamic, student focused, and innovative, full-time, live-in professional Residential Education Directors (REDs) for communities housing 145-600 residents for the 2018-2019 academic year. An RED mentors and supervises up to 20 paraprofessionals, supports programming, advises government, provides crisis intervention, manages hall conduct, promotes multicultural awareness, coordinates desk operations, and performs comprehensive administrative functions.

We offer a unique and customizable experience with many opportunities to develop skills both as a specialist in Residence Life and a generalist in Student Affairs. Our collateral experience allows Residential Education Directors to develop an understanding of a variety of offices such as: Office of the Dean of Students, Diversity Education, Multicultural Student Services, Student Involvement, Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center, Learning Communities, and the Academic Success and Career Center.
