Training and Assessment Specialist at University of Victoria

Residence Services at the University of Victoria is hiring a Training and Assessment Specialist.

This continuing position reports to the Manager, Education training and is responsible for the development, implementation and assessment of required training for para-professional staff in alignment with the strategic goals and values developed by Residence Services management. This position is responsible for needs assessment, curriculum development, planning, coordination and delivery of the annual August Training Program for approximately 90 para-professional staff positions in Residence Life and Education, as well as ongoing required training programs for para-professional staff during the academic year. The Specialist is responsible for the review, analysis and creation of the para-professional staff training program, ensuring the inclusion of differentiated streams of training for new and returning staff, the incorporation of relevant learning outcomes, formal assessment and a curriculum to guide continuous development for the Residence Life and Education team.
