Housing Operations Coordinator at Portland State University

University Housing & Residence Life’s mission is to provide a unique living experience in Portland’s urban environment through actively engaged residential communities that promote student success.

University Housing & Residence Life encompasses 9 buildings which house approximately 2200 residents. We employ 19 full-time staff, and over 100 student employees.

Housing Operations Coordinator Position Summary        

The Housing Operations Coordinator will work to help meet the operational needs of University Housing & Residence Life.

This role has four distinct components that support the residential housing population and UHRL:

1) This position will serve as a project coordinator, and will oversee operational projects as needed within UHRL.

2) This position will serve as a coordinator to the Summer Housing & Conferences Program, and will oversee reservations, bookings, and the intern housing program. This aspect of the position is primarily completed between April – August each year.

3) This position will serve as administrative support to the UHRL Leadership Team.

4) This position will provide back-up customer service support to the Housing Services Coordinator.
