Marketing and Communications Manager, Oregon State University

The Marketing and Communications Manager is a member of the creative, dynamic marketing team in University Housing & Dining Services (UHDS) at Oregon State University. UHDS serves on-campus residents and a multitude of faculty, staff and Corvallis community audiences through its various services. Ancillary and dining services alone for the department comprise more than $16 million in revenue for UHDS. This position is the dedicated lead marketing manager for these university-wide programs that serve and house faculty, students and staff. These programs include, but are not limited to: UHDS residential dining, OSU Catering, Orange Rewards, conference and scholar housing and UHDS Summer Session Housing.

This position has the authority and discretion to create and implement targeted marketing plans to increase sales and participation in the programs listed above. In collaboration with department staff and the marketing team, this position plans, implements and evaluates all aspects of marketing to faculty, staff and community members. This entails managing a marketing budget, content creation, print and web projects, social media, promotional items, vendors, contests and sponsorships. This position also manages and participates in year-round events to recruit prospective students to campus in relationship with the Office of Admissions and New Student Programs and Family Outreach.
