Sharing is Caring: The Design and Functionality of Collaborative Work Spaces
Presented by Alexa Forster and Jessica Rashid from the University of Washington

This session will discuss the trend toward collaborative works spaces, and will explore their design and functionality in the context of college and university housing. We will outline benefits and best practices for activating shared spaces, fostering innovation and maximizing team development. To do this, we will draw on the Housing Master Plan at the University of Washington and will utilize the experience of others in the field with similar spaces, both by design and by function.

Vulnerability and You: A Wholehearted Approach to the Way We Work and Lead
Presented by Kyle Myers and Sabrina Nelson from Gonzaga University

Brene Brown, one of the leading researchers on vulnerability, courage, and empathy has impacted the way we lead and live our lives.
